Fairy Family– Thought-Provoking Puppet Show Not Just for Kids

Brighella Puppet Theatre of the Harag György Company presented on Friday, 29 march, the Fairy Family puppet show. In many ways it is an unusual performance, but mainly because the target audience is the 7 years old children and their parents.

According to the director the performance is built not just on action and situation comedy. Very much adds to it the text and a good text for assumption therefore, it is intended for the larger child. The tale holds a mirror on average, always rushing today’s life, pointing: for the calm of our family life one has to throw the mobile phone or the spoon and pay more attention each other.

„This is an irregular story. Not round, not cube, not oval. Mostly flat, since it is inherently a notebook drawing of Prücsök, an average kid who doesn't like to brush his teeth, garbage down, go to church and wear hat-scarf-gloves-underwear. Because there is no cold outside. Just a little snow. And - 220 degrees. But of course, since it's winter. But Prücsök doesn't like any rules at all because he wants to be free, do what he wants, in winter, summer, night, day.
„ Sweet heart, in this world, you can't live without rules...”
Well, if in this world you can't, then he, with his own hands, draws his own fairy tale world where everyone can do whatever he or she wants. Freely. Yes. But what happens if the princess doesn't like the etiquette and her knight in shining armour? If the king decides that he would rather retreat into the woods when the enemy already at the gate?
