Seagull is the story of a strange place... Once you arrived there, you can never leave it...  It's something that keeps you prisoner in that house of Arkadin. It is like an island in a lake where the only link with the outside is a wooden bridge that comes running Nina Zarecina. Everybody arrives there remain permanently bonded, or comes back as called by an unknown force. Death is the only way to escape... Nina returns to save him on Treplev. The two children have become adults. The two losers life come back together in the end, dying together.
